Forum members tell us about the areas that are important to them and our in-house team then go and research current best practices from leading global organizations. We do this by interviewing practitioners, consulting industry experts and carrying out benchmarking surveys.
All our findings are then written up in comprehensive reports. These are available to you online, in hard copy and PowerPoint format.

Rebecca Richmond
DIRECTOR
Rebecca leads Melcrum's Strategic Communication Research Forum. She is responsible for content and research strategy across channels ranging from research reports, events and webinars, and regularly presents to leadership teams on key communication topics. Rebecca was formerly head of the European sales, marketing and communications practice for The Corporate Executive Board.
Sue Dewhurst
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Sue has over ten years' experience in internal communications, gained through senior in-house roles in Royal Mail, Barclays Bank and latterly ntl. Sue is a guest contributor and helps facilitate member meetings.
Mandy Thatcher
HEAD OF RESEARCH
Mandy has been with Melcrum since 2002 in a number of roles including editor of Strategic Communication Management journal, Head of Content and Head of Research. In her current role she oversees research projects for the Forum, facilitates meetings and supports members through the provision of tailored research, resources and benchmarking information.
Ray Edun
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Ray is the key contact for UK and Scandinavian Forum members and is responsible for handling all Forum-related inquiries as well as questions related to in-house briefing sessions and Black Belt training for members and their teams.
Sally Heginbotham
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Sally is the key contact point for Asia Pacific Forum members and is responsible for communicating with members, fulfilling Forum benefits and coordinating Forum meetings. Sally has a background in communications and events, having worked for IABC headquarters as well as an events consultant for various Australian government departments.
Claire Leheny
VP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, NORTH AMERICA
Claire oversees new business development for the company and leads the US regional office. Claire has held executive-level positions in B-to-B information companies since 2001. She most recently worked as senior vice-president of content development at Mortgage Success Source, a subsidiary of UCG, a multi-million dollar portfolio company based in Washington DC.
