Strategic Communication Research Forum
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does someone join the Strategic Communication Research Forum?
Membership saves internal communicators time and money by helping them avoid reinventing the wheel in addressing problems they share with their peers across industries and around the world. Through our detailed analysis of member needs and extensive research on a global scale, we are able to produce actionable research of the highest quality.
Does membership require a substantial time investment?
No. While we encourage member participation in research projects to ensure your voice is heard and to enable more accurate benchmarking of your company against industry norms, membership actually saves you time. We gather all the research, analyze the data, and present members with research that delivers on their brief, providing you with the answers you need.
How do you decide which topics to cover?
This process is entirely member driven. On an ongoing basis, we survey Forum members to identify their most pressing challenges, and we select for detailed examination the most urgent and widely shared problems.
Do members have to participate in research projects?
No. Members choose whether or not to participate in individual research projects, as schedules and preferences permit. However, most of our members realize that being involved in research projects is very valuable to them, as it gives them the opportunity to explore and reflect on areas that have particular relevance.
